ATI Testing Requirements

集美麻豆 uses ATI Testing for nursing education, assessments, and proctored examinations. Applicants may also be required to take the ATI TEAS examination as part of the admissions process.

ATI assessments may require a supported web browser, Respondus LockDown Browser, or another approved proctoring application, depending on the examination and testing arrangement.

Students must follow the instructions provided by ATI or the College for their specific examination.

For current ATI technical requirements, visit:

ATI TEAS Examination

Applicants taking the ATI TEAS examination must review the technical requirements and instructions associated with their scheduled testing format.

Remote TEAS examinations may use Respondus LockDown Browser or Proctorio, depending on the testing provider and proctoring arrangement.

Applicants must complete any required system checks or practice examinations before their scheduled test.

Respondus LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor

集美麻豆 uses Respondus LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor for certain examinations administered through Canvas.

Respondus LockDown Browser restricts access to other applications and websites during examinations. Respondus Monitor uses the student’s webcam and microphone when remote proctoring is required.

Students must:

  1. Install the College-approved version of Respondus LockDown Browser.
  2. Verify that their webcam and microphone function properly.
  3. Complete any required practice examination or system check.
  4. Follow the instructor’s examination and proctoring instructions.
  5. Use a compatible operating system and maintain a stable internet connection.

The version of Respondus used for Canvas examinations may differ from the version required for ATI examinations. Students must install or launch the correct version as instructed.

Respondus Monitor License Requirement (When Applicable)

Students are required to purchase a one-year Respondus Monitor license only when an instructor assigns an examination requiring Respondus Monitor through the College’s applicable licensing arrangement.

Current College instructions:

  1. License cost: $15 for 12 months.
  2. A license is required only when an examination explicitly requires Respondus Monitor.
  3. The license is purchased through Respondus LockDown Browser.
  4. Instructors will provide a practice or sample quiz and purchasing instructions.
  5. Students must install Respondus LockDown Browser before purchasing the license.

Students should follow the instructions provided by their instructor and should not purchase a license unless directed to do so.

  1. Smartphones and Android devices.
  2. Chromebooks.
  3. iPads and other tablets.
  4. Linux-based computers.
  5. Windows computers operating in S Mode.
  6. Virtual machines, remote desktop sessions, and cloud-hosted desktops.

Some testing vendors support selected tablets or Chromebooks for particular examinations. However, those devices do not meet 集美麻豆’s general laptop requirement.

Equipment Purchase Recommendation (Optional)

Students may choose to purchase equipment through Dell鈥檚 Education Purchase Program:

Participation is optional. Students are not required to purchase a Dell computer. 集美麻豆 does not receive compensation from purchases, and purchase-related matters must be addressed directly with the vendor.

Student Responsibilities
